A London-based freelance illustrator/designer, animator, art director and content creator/producer.
I can help you create designs and content which are bold, striking, thoughtful and memorable. In addition to graphic design and illustration, I produce and direct film and animation projects and can help you with concepts, storyboarding, scripting and production, to create content for your brand or project.
I’ve worked for a broad range of clients, ranging from commercial to not-for-profit organisations across various sectors. In particular I have gained experience in the charity, environment and arts sectors, and festivals and events.
I also have a passion for producing bespoke, limited edition items, often printed and put together by hand. You can see a few examples on my site in the ‘handmade’ category.
Approach and experience:
I’ve been working as a freelance designer and content creator/producer in London for the past decade. Prior to working freelance, I laid a foundation in design working in-house for the Arts Council, where I also produced films. I have also worked in-house at Friends of the Earth, helping with their most recent re-brand, as well as producing content for them. Over this time I’ve built a reputation as a skilled, dedicated, hard-working creative.
I am passionate about visual communication – whether it’s a standalone piece of static design, a drawn line, typography, a great composition, well-woven narrative or engaging character, in print, film or animation. I see all these approaches as storytelling in some form, and that’s what I’m passionate about.
Every project requires a fresh approach – no two are ever the same. I love to work closely with my clients and get to the core of the message to create original and eye catching creations which communicate to their audience. And my experience across a number of disciplines means I am able to offer a bespoke package of skills. This regularly adds great value to projects when generating ideas, putting together a team to work on them, and most of all, getting to the heart of the message you are trying to communicate.
If you’d like to discuss anything regarding design for a project you are working on, or to just say hello, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
